After the retreat I went to visit friends in Washington DC. Had a wonderful time there and celebrated Mass at the National Basilica of the Immaculate Conception on Father's Day. What a blessings to be there and enjoy the liturgy with the Basilica's choir. It was a very inspiring and prayerful Mass with Catholics from all around the world.

Retreat at Mystic, CT

Chapel of St. Edmund and Bros. in prayer Twenty five Marianists gathered at Mystic, CT for their annual retreat on June 8-14 at St. Edmund Retreat Center. Bros. Bernie Ploeger, Jose Degorio, James Dods from Honolulu and Bro Jim and I from Maui were participants in this spirituality and autobiography retreat facilitated by Fr. Tom Schroer from Dayton, OH. It was a great week of prayer, reflection and journel writing getting in touch with our Marianist vocation and God's presence throughout our lives.
